Really enjoyed setting up this blue-white version thought I would share here as well :)
Few words on the process - I started with couple quick 2d sketches in Photoshop to get a general feel of what I want to do and then hopped into Zbrush and blocked everything out. At that time I watched Mike Nash a lot and his Gumroads, just studying his ways both thought process and the technical aspect. Super eye opening for me personally, I am sad I started this after he passed away, would love to talk to him about it. I decided to implement it into my workflow. Previously my blockouts used to be much more simpler but I decided to go one step further this time and add more
standalone pieces to the blockout, more form design - not just the big shapes but also some medium shapes as well. It's still tricky for me to completely nail down when exactly I should transition into SubD (which i enjoy a lot) so not too much time is wasted with just doing retopo and still leaving opportunity for further design in SubD. But I was happy with the progress :)
I like the idea of looking at your workflow as a supercar that you try to fine tune over long period of time - little changes that compound in (hopefully) further progress. Speed, quality and so on.
